ECB Clubmark Accredited Club
In 2017, East Molesey Cricket Club achieved ECB Clubmark Re-accreditation, maintaining the ECB Clubmark accredited status it was awarded in 2015. This status is awarded to clubs demonstrating they are providing a high quality infrastructure for club cricket and in particular, a junior section adhering to high standards of organisation, good practice, equality and safety.
Clubmark accreditation ensures East Molesey Cricket Club has an open membership promoting cricket for all and provides a safe environment for playing the game. The club must have an organised structure, sound procedures, a designated Welfare Officer (approved by Surrey Cricket) plus ECB qualified and DBS checked coaches.
As part of the process the club is required to have a development plan in place to promote cricket in the local community and provide a vibrant environment for playing cricket at all levels. East Molesey Cricket Club is committed to improving the club’s senior and junior cricket programmes, plus enhancing the club’s facilities, as demonstrated with our plans to build a second ground and redevelop the clubhouse.
ECB Clubmark accreditation is awarded for a three-year period and subject to annual assessments, development and monitoring with our partners, Surrey Cricket.
